Las Vegas bachelorette house dinner: the timeline before the Strip

Renting a house for a Las Vegas bachelorette? A private chef's timeline for dinner at the house before the Strip, plus the recovery brunch the next day.

Guest serving herself sushi from gold risers

A rental house with a pool has become the smart way to host a Las Vegas bachelorette. Everyone gets ready together, the pool is private, and the budget goes further. The one challenge is dinner: the house is often a drive from the Strip, and a table for twelve on a Saturday night is expensive and difficult to book. Here is how a dinner at the house fits into the evening.

The timeline

  • 4:30 p.m.: The chef and team arrive and begin cooking while the group gets ready upstairs.
  • 6:30: Drinks and passed bites are served by the pool while photos are taken.
  • 7:00: The seated dinner begins with a salad, followed by a choice of mains.
  • 8:30: Dessert and toasts. Rides are booked for 9:00.
  • 9:00: You leave for the Strip, and we clean up and leave the kitchen spotless.

A menu that photographs beautifully

A Las Vegas weekend calls for something grand, and the dinner should match: a sushi spread on gold risers as guests arrive, then bacon-wrapped filet mignon or butter-poached lobster tail with truffle mashed potatoes, and a chocolate flourless torte to finish.

The morning after

Book the recovery brunch for late morning: eggs, crispy potatoes, stone-ground grits, fruit, cinnamon rolls and plenty of coffee. Groups tell us it is the meal they appreciate most.

What to check with your rental

  • Gate or community access for vendors
  • Quiet hours, if you are planning a long dinner outdoors
  • The grill or outdoor kitchen, if the house has one

Dinners start at $57 a person and brunch at $68, plus food. See our Las Vegas page or our bachelorette private chef service.
