Weekly meal prep, cooked fresh in your kitchen

Three meals and a snack every day, cooked fresh twice a week in your own kitchen. For aging parents, new families and anyone too busy to cook well.

How weekly meal prep works

Our personal chef comes to your home twice a week, on Sunday and Wednesday or on Monday and Thursday. On each visit, the chef shops, cooks breakfast, lunch, dinner and a daily snack for the days ahead, portions everything into labeled containers with reheating instructions, and leaves your kitchen clean.

  • Before the first week: a call to plan the menu around your tastes, routines and any dietary needs
  • Two cooking days a week: so meals are always fresh, never more than a few days old
  • Labeled and dated: every container shows the dish, the date and how to reheat it
  • A new menu each week: with favorites repeated whenever you like
  • A clean kitchen: dishes washed and counters wiped before the chef leaves

Who it is for

Seniors and aging parents. Nourishing meals that are easy to reheat and easy to eat, cooked to the guidance of your loved one's doctor or dietitian, whether that means lower sodium, softer textures or smaller portions. Many families book meal prep for a parent who lives alone, so they know good food is in the refrigerator every day.

New parents. The first weeks home with a baby leave little time to cook. We prepare warm, filling meals that can be eaten with one hand, plus snacks for late-night feedings and freezer meals for the weeks ahead. Meal prep is a thoughtful gift from grandparents, friends or a baby registry.

Busy professionals and families. Fresh, balanced food all week without the grocery runs, the planning or the cleanup.

Special diets

Meal prep is the easiest way to eat well on a special diet, because every dish is cooked for you. We regularly cook gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegetarian, vegan, low-sodium, heart-healthy and carbohydrate-conscious menus, and we keep allergens out of the kitchen when the plan calls for it. Sample weeks

Every plan is built for the person eating it. See a sample week for each of the households we cook for most:

What it costs

The chef service is $728 for the week. Food is $21 per person per day, covering breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack, with a two-person minimum. For two people, a full week is $1,022. Add another person or another week at any time.

Questions people ask

Which days does the chef come?

Twice a week: Sunday and Wednesday, or Monday and Thursday. You choose the pair that suits your household.

Is there a minimum?

Yes. Meal prep is booked by the week, for at least two people.

Can you follow a doctor's or dietitian's plan?

Yes. Share the guidance you have been given, and we will plan every meal around it. We are chefs, not medical providers, so we follow the plan rather than write it.

Can I book meal prep as a gift?

Yes. Families often book a week or more for new parents or for a parent recovering at home. We coordinate the details with whoever is receiving it.

Do you bring the groceries?

Yes. The chef shops before each visit. Food is billed at $21 per person per day.
