Clear per-person private chef pricing, with groceries listed separately so you can see exactly what the food costs.

What's added to the chef price
- Food. Groceries are estimated on your quote, separate from the chef service. Most dinner menus come to about $55 a person, and brunch and lunch to about $20 to $25. Premium proteins such as lobster, filet and rack of lamb cost more.
- Servers and helpers for larger groups, about one for every 14 guests.
- Tax and gratuity.
- Travel outside our normal service area, which is quoted separately.
Every event has a $830 minimum before food, tax and gratuity.
An example
Consider a Signature dinner for 12: chef service at $99 a person, groceries at roughly $55 a person, one helper, and tax and gratuity. Each appears as its own line on your quote before you pay anything.
Deposits and payment
A non-refundable $500 deposit confirms your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event, and once it is paid, the event is non-refundable. For peace of mind, we offer travel insurance when you book, which can protect your event if plans change for a covered reason.
- Cancel more than 30 days before the event: the deposit is not refunded, and nothing more is owed.
- Cancel within 30 days of the event: no refund, for any reason, including weather, natural disasters and other events outside anyone's control.
You may pay by card, Apple Pay or Cash App Pay, or spread the cost with Afterpay, Affirm or Klarna where available.
Travel insurance
Because bookings are non-refundable, we offer travel insurance when you book. The choice is yours: purchase a policy to protect your trip, or opt out and confirm that you understand the event is non-refundable.
