New Orleans weekends

Private chef in New Orleans

A Creole-inspired dinner at the house before Frenchmen Street, and a slow brunch the next morning. Cooked in your New Orleans rental.

Why New Orleans groups book a chef

New Orleans is a food city, but a large group is hard to seat at the places everyone wants to try. Groups rent shotgun houses and grand old homes in the Garden District, the Marigny, the Bywater and around the French Quarter. A private chef in New Orleans gives you a long table, your own playlist and a short walk to the music afterward.

What we'd cook in New Orleans

Our Signature Season 3 menu could have been written for this city: blackened redfish Acadiana, pecan-crusted speckled trout, buttermilk fried quail and waffles, and a Bananas Foster soufflé to finish. Add Gulf seafood, gouda grits and bourbon pecan bread pudding, and you have a true New Orleans weekend.

A weekend plan

  • Friday: a Gulf seafood night at the house.
  • Saturday brunch: grits, eggs, beignet-style sweets and a mimosa setup before a second line or an afternoon in the Quarter.
  • Saturday dinner: the Season 3 menu, plated, with dessert for the table.
