Rehearsal dinners, welcome parties & small weddings

A rehearsal dinner chef for the whole wedding weekend

The dinners surrounding a wedding are where families finally have time to talk. Your rehearsal dinner chef cooks them at the house, so no one has to move a party of thirty across town.

The events we cook around a wedding

  • Rehearsal dinners for the wedding party and both families, plated or family-style
  • Welcome parties the night guests arrive, usually a relaxed buffet or stations
  • Engagement and shower dinners at a family home or rental
  • Small weddings where the meal is at the house, plated for every guest
  • Farewell brunches the morning after, for guests still in town

Everything in writing before the day

A wedding weekend has many moving parts. Once your menu is set, our office sends a final event order: the menu course by course, guest count, serving style, arrival and service times, the address and access details, and every allergy. You or your planner approve it, and that document guides your chef and servers on the day. If anything changes, such as the guest count or a start time moved for photographs, we update the order and send it again.

Working with your planner and venue

We are glad to work directly with your wedding planner or rental manager on timing, rentals and kitchen access. If the dinner is at a venue rather than a private home, send us the venue's kitchen rules, and we will confirm what is possible there.

Questions people ask

Can we do a tasting?

Please ask when you inquire. We will walk through the menu dish by dish and discuss a tasting for larger weddings.

How is the date held?

A non-refundable $500 deposit confirms your date. The balance is due 30 days before the event, and bookings are non-refundable from that point on. We offer travel insurance when you book.

What if the guest count changes?

Send us the new number, and we will update your event order. Final counts are fixed when the balance is due.

Tell us about your table

Send us the date, your guest count and the occasion. We reply the same day with menu ideas and a quote.
