Gluten-free, dairy-free, allergy-aware

A private chef for special diets and food allergies

When someone at the table has a food allergy or a medical diet, every dish matters. We plan, shop and cook with that guest in mind from the start.

How we cook for special diets

Every booking begins with a conversation about who is eating and what they need. Each allergy and dietary requirement is written into your event order or weekly meal plan, and the chef cooks, labels and serves those dishes separately. Nothing is left to memory on the day.

  • Planned in writing: every allergy and restriction appears on the event order the chef cooks from
  • Shopped with care: ingredients are checked for hidden allergens before they reach your kitchen
  • Prepared separately: allergy-safe dishes are cooked first, with clean equipment, and labeled
  • Served by name: at dinners, the guest with the allergy is served their own plate

Diets we cook for

  • Gluten-free and celiac-aware
  • Dairy-free and lactose-free
  • Nut-free and peanut-free
  • Shellfish-free and fish-free
  • Vegetarian and vegan
  • Low-sodium and heart-healthy
  • Carbohydrate-conscious and diabetic-friendly
  • Paleo, Whole30-style and high-protein plans
  • Pregnancy-safe menus, with no raw fish, rare meat or unpasteurized cheese

If you follow a plan from a doctor or dietitian, share it with us and we will cook to it. We are chefs, not medical providers, so we follow your plan rather than prescribe one.

Where special diets matter most

Weekly meal prep. Three meals and a snack every day, cooked fresh twice a week, is the simplest way to stay on a diet that is hard to manage alone. It is especially helpful for seniors and for new parents.

Dinners and celebrations. One guest's allergy should not change the evening for everyone else. We plan a menu the whole table enjoys and prepare separate plates where needed.

Vacation stays. Travelling with a food allergy is stressful. With a chef in the rental, every meal is cooked in a kitchen you can trust.

Questions people ask

Can you guarantee a kitchen is free of an allergen?

We prepare allergy-safe dishes first, with cleaned equipment, and keep the allergen out of the menu when the plan calls for it. A rental or home kitchen is not an allergen-free facility, so for severe allergies we plan the whole menu without that ingredient.

Does a special diet cost more?

Usually not. Some specialty ingredients raise the food cost slightly, and we always show food separately on your quote.

Can different guests have different diets?

Yes. Mixed tables are common, and every guest's needs are written into the event order.
